Joëlle Van de Voorde has been designing, producing and wholesaling her own handmade jewellery since 2001.
She travels around the globe to find her beads and to exhibit her collections but she lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
She studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Monumental Sculpture where she won several prizes and acquired a skill for carving and cutting stones. She kept her passion for Contemporary Art and installations.
Et le bijou créa la Femme ... is a registered trademark since 2000. She opened her Brussels showroom in 2001. Since 2003, she participates in the international trade shows during Paris Fashion Weeks, twice a year. Now, she is well known in Paris where she won a first prize of jewellery’s creations.
The prize was awarded by the magazine "Table et Cadeaux" at the fair “Maison et Objet” in Paris, September 2005. |
